Austin –
I just wanted to tell you how happy I am with the SuperCharger. First off let me tell you about my Jeep. It’s a 93YJ with a factory 4.0, 6 speed and transfer case out of a Rubicon. It has 1 ton axles and 5:13 gears turning 40″ tires. These things weigh 150lbs with wheels. The whole Jeep is 4600lbs. Needless to say it was way under powered for living in Colorado and just about any other place. To drive from my house in Durango to Silverton/ Ouray I would have to gear down to 3rd just to keep it around 45mph. Yesterday after swapping controllers, I was able to drive the same passes in 5th sometimes hitting 70mph! I was blown away. I actually had to back out of the throttle?! My girlfriend is the one who talked me into the SuperCharger instead of the V8 swap. I’m glad I went with the SuperCharger, it’s a torque monster. The girlfriend a keeper, by the way.
Off-road is just like on road. The SuperCharger makes tons of power that is usable almost all the time. It makes climbing easier and keeps the motor from bogging down. This is especially important when you wheel at 12,000 ft. It just plan works everywhere.
Yes it has been trying at times but in the end, it was well worth it. My Jeep is a Beast!
Thanks for all of your effort and hard work. You make a great product that I am proud to tell people that I have.
If you or anyone else need more info on my install don’t hesitate to call.
